Place seed on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination which usually takes 14 to 30 days.
Half hardy perennial. Height: 4 to 8 inches (10 to 20 cm). Stems are prostrate and can reach about 2 feet (60 cm).
